THINGS THEY SAY: DAME DASH INSTIGATING
Tweet
In a recent interview with BET the ex-BFF of Jay-Z and former Roc-A-Fella CEO Damon Dash spoke about Kanye’s song “Big Brother” which addresses Ye’s relationship with Jay. Dame feels like Kanye is taking a shot at Jay, but in a sneaky lyrical way. Here’s what he had to say.
“It sounds like a sneak dis record to me. You gotta understand certain things about Kanye; he doesn’t go at things like the average person does,” Dash tells BET.com. “I feel like if he has something to say, he has to pose it in that way or he can’t communicate it at all. And that was the only way he could express why he doesn’t understand why he’s treated that way.”
“It’s not like he could be gangsta about it and say,’Yo, this n***a’s playing me,’…I didn’t think it was a very complimentary record. N***as saying n***a on their d**ks and that was some real disrespectful stuff. I might have choked Kanye out for that.”
Sounds like Dame is trying to start something. I’ve heard the song and heard everything Jay had to say about it. Jay loves the song, so I don’t know why Dame is instigating. His ass is already on Jim Jone’s wack ass mixtape venting. Damn, Dame just let sh*t rock!

I kinda felt the same Dame is feeling when I first heard the record. Kanye talked about him working some group and before he knew Jay Z was trying to or was working with the same group. I believe it was some rock group. It sounded like Kanye was a little p-ed. Because it was like he wasn’t being heard, but then he go this idea to work with this rock group and then behind is back Jay ended up working with the very same group. So I can kinda feel where Dame is coming from. It did kinda feel like Kanye was praising Jay, but still letting everybody know how Jay really is sometimes on the cool.
