NAS’ “NIGGA” ALBUM WON’T DROP!

Apparently there’s a bit of discrepancy going on with Nas’ forthcomin album title. Last week Nas’ announced the album’s title as “Nigga” will drop in December and now Def Jam is denying it! In fact, Def Jam is saying there is no album to drop.  The label claims it does not have any of the rapper’s new material scheduled for release this year. A snitch close to L.A. Reid told FoxNews,

“There is no album release by Nas on the release schedule at this point…And they would be unlikely to release an album with that title. How would that look at Wal-Mart?”"

And as expected the Reverend Jessie Jackson has slammed Nas for “making a mockery” of the race issue. The outspoken civil rights campaigner has urged media outlets and fans to boycott the release, if and when it hits stores. Here’s what Jackson told AHH,

“The title using the ‘N’ word is morally offensive and socially distasteful. “Nas has the right to degrade and denigrate in the name of free speech, but there is no honour in it. “Radio and television stations have no obligation to play it and self-respecting people have no obligation to buy it. I wish he would use his talents to lift up and inspire, not degrade, making mockery of racism.”

Well Nas wanted controversy and attention…he got it!
