Will.I.Am graces the cover of new issue of The Ave magazine side steppin’ those haters…meanwhile an non-preggo JLo covers the recent issue of Arena Magazine. I’d rather see Jenny in a photo spread than hear her on a song.

So as many of you may know the site was down all day. Well it turns out there’s been a spike in traffic causing our bandwith to exceed its limit. So we had to upgrade, let’s hope it doesn’t happen again for a while. Thanks for all the support and keep spreading the word. Posting will resume to normalcy.

Last night Cee-lo and Solange Knowles hosted the new and improved Miami Live at club Santo in Miami, FL. I’m feeling Solange’s care-free look…very nice.

Besides sharing the same big ass forehead, Rihanna and Tyra have a lot more in common than it seems. Rihanna strutted her 5′9” frame and newly purchased tatas on the catwalk for the Dsquared2 Spring/Summer 2008 collection presented in Milan, Italy. I’m convinced like Cassie, RiRi should also consider a career change!

I guess VH1 has finally decided to step away from its reality shows which are in the words of Uncle Luke “garbaging” up my television screen. Now, don’t get me wrong VH1 does have some interesting reality shows and I can’t front like my ass didn’t tune in to watch Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Charm School, but on Oct. 1 VH1 is trying something different. Their new series “Bridging The Gap” will premier which depicts two artists from different eras recording a track together. This show sounds interesting! Anyway, Eve will collaborate with Queen Latifah and The Game will collaborate with Snoop Dogg in the first two episodes. Each episode will have both sets of artists sitting down for a mid afternoon snack before hitting the studio where they will only have 1 day to produce a finished track. The artists involved will also discuss their lives, their careers, and their influences on each other. So, don’t forget to tune in on Monday, October 1 at 11:00 p.m. for the premiere! Why the hell is it premiering so damn late??? SMH they always put the positive stuff on television when my ass is sleeping! Read More about “Bridging The Gap” HERE

jarule2.jpgY’all know Ja Rule is making his comeback, but he definitely needs to step back and think about the ish he says in public even if he has a valid point. In a recent interview with Complex Magazine, Ja Rule responded to criticism of Hip-Hop lyrics by criticising mainstream media. Here’s what his ass had to say,

“We need to go step to MTV and Viacom, and lets talk about all these f*ucking shows that they have on MTV that is promoting homosexuality, that my kids can’t watch this sh*t. Dating shows that’s showing two guys or two girls in mid afternoon. Let’s talk about sh*t like that! If that’s not f*cking up America, I don’t know what is.”

Well, he does have a point, but let’s talk about the booty shaking videos that promote permiscuous behavior and violence that air on BET around that same damn time! My little cousins can’t watch that sh*t either!

mosdef.bmpNow, I know y’all heard about the “Jena 6″ case which has shed some light on how backwards this country is when it comes to minorties and justice. Well, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, M1 of the group Dead Prez are calling for a national student walk out in support for the “Jena 6″. It bothers me that the only rappers who actually have a positive message in their music are the only ones showing their support. Isn’t Lil’ Wayne and the rest of his posse from Louisiana??? His ass and Baby should’ve been out there last week in Louisiana rockin’ all black marching just like everyone else. Anyway, the walk out is scheduled on Monday, Oct. 1 at 12:00 p.m., the main reason for the walk out is to demand that Mychal Bell be released from the pen. Dude is the only one out of the 6 who remains locked up! SMH. If Bell is not released by 12:00 p.m. that day then that’s when everyone participating is expected to walk out of their classrooms and schools. So, show some support and WALK OUT!
